raven's photos and other shit i wanna share.

so, it's 1:34  pm, and i'm sitting in my bed. my weekend was aight. my dad got a facebook.....notice thh dark cloud that casts on everything i just wrote.

anyway, my friend raven got a new camera, and she's been taking mad pics of stuff. a lot of them are at my place of work (stussy/commonwealth), and they're very well done. i'm gonna ask lucas if we could use some of them on the blog. my skytops came in, and she got a pic of me in them when i was on my way to stussy yesterday. on to the other things i wanted to share, the fruition x cassette playa t-shirts are stupid hard. i saw them on highsnobiety, and i feel like i need to buy one. here are two i really want, the rest can be found here.

pretty girls with ugly guys.

this has been bothering me for a while. i see so many really attractive girls with fuck ass niggas or regular ass dudes with no sense of style. i understand it's hard to be choosy in college, but damn, it's NOT shallow to have standards. i know some girls who justify their boyfriends by their personality, and yeah, personality has a lot to do with whether you stay with someone or not, but you can't tell a person's personality by looking at them. it's not what makes you do a double take. physical attraction is the basis for most strangers approaching each other. i'm not saying it's all that matters, so before you call me shallow, just take a deep breath and hear me out. there is NO amount of personality that can make me settle for someone who i'm not initially attracted to, so what's going on? in the words of Big L, "I don't understand it."

i haven't updated since i've been back at school. i apologize if any of you care.

this semester's been going well. i had a gf for about a month, but that's done. shit is looking up. i started my internship at stussy, and it's fucking awesome. i have yet to make a post on http://theblockdc.wordpress.com, but you should check it out, and add me, stussydc, and commonwealth on twitter..and facebook for that matter.

 

let's talk about music. i'm lovin maddecent.com and a-trak's blog. i find a lot of cool shit on maddecent, and you should def check it out if you love hip-hop, electro, or the combination of the two. diplo never disappoints. i'm a little late on it, but Fear and Loathing in Hunts Vegas is an awesome mixtape. oh yeah, and check out DJ Benzi's blog too.

as far as shoes go, i got the purple rain sb blazers

and i'm waiting for my purple crackle skytops to get in.

i kinda like purple.
